Four players, Palacio, Poli, Orsolini and Gonzalez will miss this match for Bologna. They lost to Spal last week 0-1 and their task was certainly not helped by the Gonzalez dismissal. Verdi is back and he will be joining Destro and Di Francesco in their attacking line.

Atalanta were probably happy that their game vs Sampdoria was called off last week. They had played the cup semi final against Juventus earlier that week and they would most likely not have been at their best against Sampdoria.

Petagna is now back to full fitness.
